Microsoft has a fun new toy! It’s called How-Old.net! It’s NOT a game where you guess the age of their .NET platform. Instead it’s a fun game where they guess your age from a photo you supply. It’s kind of like this:
…except you can’t win anything.
They have this hashtag #HowOldRobot they’re trying to promote but it’s just pointless. The Terms of Service state:
Microsoft does not claim ownership of any materials you provide to Microsoft (including feedback and suggestions) or post, upload, input, or submit to any Website Services for review by the general public, or by the members of any public or private community (collectively “Submissions”). This is fun! Also, I can’t figure out why people are so weirded out by facial recognition technology.
