Darwin’s 200th birthday is February 12, 2009.
We are trying to amass 200,000 members in our Happy Birthday Charles Darwin group on Facebook. Here’s the link:
The race is on… We met our first goals of 200 and 2,000 members early.
As of the moment of this post, we are at 8,561 members!
Our daily goal is 10,000 members today, Sunday 2/1/09.
And our larger goal is at least 200,000 members by Darwin’s 200th birthday: Thursday, February 12, 2009.
Can we find 200,000 people that want to wish Darwin a happy 200th birthday?

2. Click on “Invite People to Join” from the menu on the right.
3. Select all your friends (this is done one at a time – while there is no “select all” feature in Facebook, it’s pretty easy to quickly click through)
4. Click on “Send invitation”
