Bodycount Zero synopsis

Tick...tick...tick...boom.

What used to be a building erupts in a fireball of shattered glass and twisted girders. This city is being held hostage by a madman who thinks the world is just a game. And now you're the only one that can stop him.

Do you have quick wits? Nerves of steel? Are you good under pressure? You'd better hope so, because hundreds of innocent lives are at stake. And time is running out.

Bodycount Zero is a puzzle/adventure game designed for handheld game platforms. The game puts the player in the role of a special agent who is racing against the clock to defuse a series of deadly explosive traps set by a fiendish terrorist genius.

Gameplay

At its heart, Bodycount Zero is a series of logic puzzles. Inspired by the addictive gameplay of Picross-style "picture-logic" puzzles, BZ will include original variations on this kind of puzzle alongside a variety of other types of brain-twisting conundrums.

Real-time Puzzles

Each puzzle is played against the clock. This time limit cranks up the tension and allows for additional game mechanics. As the player solves puzzles, they will earn power-ups and special items which can be used to help them survive the fiendishly challenging later levels by getting hints and partial solutions, and temporarily stopping or adding extra time to the clock.

The game is designed from the ground up to be a perfect handheld experience, combining bite-sized play-as-you-go puzzles with a suspenseful storyline that unfolds as the player progresses.
